Gemorah B’lyun The centerpiece of the Limudei Kodesh program is the intensive study of Gemorrah and classical meforshim. The primary objective is to develop the language, critical thinking, and reasoning skills necessary for sophisticated learning. The shiurim emphasize careful and thorough examination of the text and dialogue of the Gemorah, Rashi, and Tosafos. Under the guidance of the Rebbe, talmidim are encouraged to develop a mature understanding of differing opinions, proof – and – refutation, and stated and implied conclusions. Bekieyus The Mesivta offers advanced talmidim a shiur in Bekieyus which covers an additional 20-30 blatt of Gemorah and Rashi. This shiur broadens the talmid’s base of knowledge and strengthens his language skills and textual proficiency. Night Seder The Mesivta holds a supervised night seder for all dormitory students with the participation of the Yeshiva’s Bais Medrash talmidim. A similar program is available to local students on a voluntary basis.

Mussar Fundamental Mussar values, such as character development, human dignity, derech eretz, personal honesty and responsibility to Klal Yisroel, are an integral part of the ethical personality of the Ben Torah. These values play a vital role in all areas of his development including his growth in learning, his ability to confront the challenges of life and his appreciation of the richness and beauty of Yiddeshkiet. These concepts are presented in a manner consistent with the principle that all learning is most effectively transmitted by actively engaging in the talmid’s intellect. The program includes regular shiurim in the classical mussar works, weekly shimuesin, and shiurim in Chumash and Navi where these principles are identified and elucidated. Parshas Hashavua The Mesivta maintains a Parshas Hashavua program that tests students on a section of the weekly Parsha with Rashi. Thus, students will complete each Parsha with Rashi during their four-years at the Mesivta. Recreation Mesivta students have access each week to the local Jewish Community Center’s state-of-the-art facilities including an Olympic-sized pool and a full-size gymnasium. Special Events Regularly scheduled extra-curricular events are held to enhance the ruach of the Mesivta. These include Rosh Chodesh assemblies, Shabbatonim, Chanukah/Purim Chagigas, and a Lag B’Omer outing.
