Emergent Research is a research and consulting firm focused on the most dynamic sector of the global economy - small businesses. They identify, analyze and forecast the key demographic, social, technology and business trends and shifts impacting small business formation and operations. While They research the entire small business sector, much of their work is focused on very small businesses (those with fewer than 20 employees), micro businesses (those with fewer than 5 employees) and solopreneurs (those working independently without traditional employees).
