Frequently featured for her research and inventions in The Financial Times, The Atlantic, The Guardian, Quartz and the New York Times, Dr. Vivienne Ming is a theoretical neuroscientist, entrepreneur, and author. She co-founded Socos Labs, her fifth company, an independent institute exploring the future of human potential.

Joshua Boswell
As Vice President of Policy + Economic Development at REACH, Joshua Boswell works at the nexus of the government of business to promote economic and job growth benefitting Central Coast residents. Before moving to Santa Barbara, Boswell was a director at C&M International, a global government relations, public affairs, and public policy consulting firm in Washington, D.C., where he advised the world’s top companies on investment, workforce, supply chain and partnership decisions as well as navigating the complexities of government policy, global markets and multi-stakeholder initiatives. Co-author of How Washington Actually Works for Dummies, Boswell is a graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
