Alyson Greenlee Escarzaga
Alyson Greenlee Escarzaga is the Economic Development Manager for the Contra Costa County Department of Conservation and Development, where she promotes regional economic development. With over twenty years of experience in the field—primarily in the Bay Area—Alyson is an expert in workforce and economic development strategy. Her background includes global consulting, a successful tenure as an independent consultant, and fifteen years of managing large, cross-functional projects. She considers her work in Contra Costa County to be the most rewarding of her career. Originally from Poughkeepsie, NY, Alyson resides in Oakland and enjoys biking the Contra Costa Canal Trail.

Dr. Gregory Theyel
Dr. Gregory Theyel is a regional innovation and manufacturing strategist with deep expertise in biomedical manufacturing, industry location strategy, and economic development. As Director of the Biomedical Manufacturing Network and Proximity Lab, he works at the intersection of engineering, business growth, and workforce development to help companies expand and scale. A former Senior Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge, Dr. Theyel brings global research insight to advancing advanced manufacturing ecosystems in Northern California.
